About SBB
The Sustainable Business Battle (SBB) is a multi-week challenge in which interdisciplinary teams of students compete to find innovative and practical solutions to the sustainability challenges of Dutch organizations. We are a student sustainability consultancy competition for anyone who would like to make a difference. Over a period of two weeks you are provided mentorship, resources, and unique experiences. Our students work in collaborative teams and compete to find innovative and practical solutions to the sustainability challenges faced by a multitude of different companies.

Who is the SBB for?
The Sustainable Business Battle is for any student who is interested in sustainability in business. We strongly believe in the strength of diverse teams of young, motivated and hard-working participants. Combining a wide spread of knowledge and skills leads to multidisciplinary teams where every participant is able to provide their background perspective to create well rounded end results. There is no need for any specific prior knowledge in the field of either sustainability, business, problem solving or presenting. You will be assigned a team based on your strengths and weaknesses to ensure a level playing field for all. In the past students from higher education joined us from all over Leiden, The Hague, Delft, Amsterdam, Utrecht and elsewhere.
The SBB programme is designed with a full-time study schedule in mind. Most events take place on the weekend. We expect participants to fully commit to the provided schedule. Of course you and your team can spend additional time on your case, which will increase your chances of winning.
